Symposium Venue: THe Hagley museum & library

The Hagley is located on 235 beautiful acres alongside the banks of the Brandywine River in Wilmington, Delaware. Founded by E.I. du Pont in 1802, Hagley is the former site of the original black powder works of the DuPont Company. A testament to early American industry, the property includes restored mills, a workers' community, and the ancestral home and gardens of the du Pont family. Today, the Hagley Library supports the research of businesses, technologies, and the impact of these systems on American society. Its collections include the papers and records of both individuals and companies, spanning from eighteenth-century merchants to modern telecommunications.
